Porcelain

Porcelain tile is made up of special clays and minerals similar to those found in chinaware. This type of tile comes in a wide range of colors, which are made by mixing pigments with the clay. These special clays allow the product to be fired at extreme temperatures resulting in a very dense tile. And the denser the tile, the better it resists moisture. This makes porcelain tile ideal for heavy commercial installations. Highly stain resistant and strong, porcelain can be produced with a plain, rough, or polished finish.
