Granite

Granite is the earth’s most plentiful and durable stone. It is an igneous rock that was melted by magma and was then slowly cooled and crystallized before it reached the earth’s surface. Granite’s speckled appearance comes in a wide range of color. The speckles that give granite its distinctive look also make it more consistent and uniform in appearance than marble. Granite is extremely hard and durable.
