UW Oshkosh Musical Department
|
Project Name: University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh The Music Department at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh was experiencing noise control difficulties in one of their rooms that house a unique musical instrument. The sound levels were so extreme; the musicians were uncomfortable while playing. Project manager Mike Schott worked closely with the University, assisting them not only with VerHalen’s portion of work, but also with the reverberation test and other suggestions outside our scope of work in order to maximize the end result of acoustical performance. Mike also consulted acoustical engineers from Arrow Audio to ensure optimal performance. Utilizing 2” acoustical wall panels from Acoustical Solutions and 1” fiberglass ceiling tile from Armstrong, the noise levels in the space were brought to a level which allowed the musicians to play comfortably. |
