The design challenge of a great commercial space is simple really. The space must ultimately function for those working in the space while creating a comfortable atmosphere for those visiting the space. As a dental clinic, the Jacobs Smile Center renovation project was such a space. The success of Paul and Paula Jacobs dental center required more working space. At the same time, Paula wanted to create a spa like atmosphere ideal for clients.

In addition, it was imperative they continue practicing out of the facility during construction. The key to making this work was finalizing all finishes prior to construction. All furnishings including task seating, lobby guest seating, occasional tables, consultation room furnishings, artwork and accessories were selected as ideal to the vision of the space but also to withstand the demands of a family dental center.
