Project Pictures

Project Name: Holy Family Church
Type of Project: Acoustical
Location: Fond du Lac, WI
Date Completed: October 2007
Project Manager: Mike Schott

When Holy Family Church in Fond du Lac, WI decided to build a new facility, they wanted to create a place of worship that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and comfortable.

Project Manager Mike Schott worked closely with the general contractor, architect and suppliers to provide Holy Family with the desired appearance. Mike researched new products, created innovative uses for existing products, submitted a number of revised shop drawings and conducted numerous inquiries to ensure the design would exceed the customer’s expectations.

Close attention to detail ensured a stunning environment was created for Holy Family Church. Custom wood finishes by 9-Wood were added to the Kwik-Wall operable partitions to create a sense of warmth and comfort. Fabricmate Acoustical Wall Panels were installed in the sanctuary of the church, but were utilized in such a fashion that they blend into their surroundings. Custom fabric panels were created to mask the unsightly mechanicals located behind the organ. A custom, acoustical wood ceiling supplied by Architectural Surfaces was installed in the corridors.

As a result, the church sounds acoustically perfect and the outstanding products look and perform beautifully.
